Following a report in the Derby Evening Telegraph (dated April 10th), it has come to our attention that there have been some significant postage issues around the Hilton area - the address to which all DKC application forms and CRB forms are sent.
According to the DET, a postal worker has been sacked following an investigation by The Royal Mail into the loss of nearly 2000 letters from the Hatton Delivery Office. Though it further reports that the majority of these letters have now been recovered (and are beginning to arrive on the DKC doorstep), we would ask all DKC members who have recently sent their application and/or CRBs through, but are concerned that their forms have not been received, to please call Kirsty on 01283 730587 or email volunteers@derbykidscamp.co.uk; we will confirm their receipt as soon as possible.
