The
lycra lads and lasses of Team EverFocus - who 2 years ago pedalled
300 miles through France in just 5 days for Derby Kids' Camp - havegone
and done it again!
Only this time they have pedalled all the way to (and sometimes
up and over!) the Alps!
The team - made up of Derby Kids' Camp Chairman Chris Edwards and
work colleagues Steve Collin, Martin Featherstone and new recruit
Lauren Bamford - returned this month after their mammoth pedalling
session from Laon in the north of France, all the way through the
Champagne and Chablis regions, ending 3 days later at Lake Annecy
in the French Alps.
After pedalling
555 miles in just 3 days (and then driving almost 800 miles back
again the following day!) the team have so far raised over £2100
- and are already planning next year's adventure!...
