BBC Money Mountain a great success! Dec 07

Congratulations and huge thanks to everyone involved in
this year’s BBC Radio Derby Money Mountain Appeal, which
raised thousands of pounds for six very good causes in the
area - including, of course, Derby Kids’ Camp!

Selling 150 lots in the on-air auction throughout the day, the total
raised on the day was £17,389 (grand total to be announced in
December) - with approximately £3500 of that money going
towards shiny, new replacement marquees for camp next year.
Thank you to everyone at BBC Radio Derby for their huge
support, to everyone who either donated or bid and thanks also to
the Derby Kids’ Camp members who went along to feed and
water all the hard workers throughout the day!
