'Bag Pack' Fundraising another great success! dec 07

Congratulations and huge thanks to everyone involved in the ‘Bag Pack’ fundraising event over the weekend of 1st and 2nd December – all of whom helped to raise the fantastic sum of £888 over the two short days!

Thanks to the continuing kind support of Somerfield supermarket in Allestree, a number of Derby Kids’ Camp members took to the tills on the Saturday and Sunday to pack customers’ shopping and vigorously shake buckets to raise much needed funds for Summer Camp 2008.
Thank you to everyone involved; to DKC members who came along to pack bags, Somerfield Allestree and to the generous public who not only donated, but also tolerated some of our amateur bag packing efforts!
