Getting excited - about no hair....?!

Tom Wyatt (pictured in blue above) has grown up with Derby Kids' Camp. Having first been brought along as a baby, Tom has been on Summer Camp for 16 years, alongside his family who all volunteer with the charity.

The experience has rubbed off on Tom, who as well as signing up for his second year as a DKC volunteer has also decided to shave his head to raise money and awareness for Derby Kids' Camp!

Tom says "I have chosen Derby Kids' Camp as I know the good it does in the local community for the kids that it takes away on the summer camp, and I wanted to raise awareness of the camp itself."

Tom's headshave is being planned to take place early in the summer, before the charity's 6 weeks of holidays kick off. His £850 funding target would provide a week-long summer holiday for 6 local children who are in need of a break.

You can support Tom by donating via his JustGiving page - every donation will help fund a much-needed holiday for a local child!
