Derby Kids' camp is a 100% volunteer-run charity committed to providing FREE holidays for many of the local area's most deserving young children. With the hard work and support of a fantastic group of experienced and enthusiastic, unpaid volunteers, these children benefit from what may be their only opportunity of a holiday this year - enjoying an exciting, fun, free break in the great outdoors! Since its launch in 1973, the charity has steadily grown to the point where we have now purchased all our own camping equipment to provide more than 300 children with a well serviced and comfortable camping holiday during the summer period every single year. In addition to our main summer camps, DKC also funds and runs a number of specialised adventure holiday weekends for older children and young carers and children with more specific specialised needs.
